International Association of Armenian Neuroscientists
The International Association of ArmenianNeuroscientists (IAAN) was founded in 2005. The immediate goal of the IAAN is to provide networking opportunities to Armenian neuroscientists fromaround the world in order to promote collaboration, mentorship, andcohesiveness to this unique community. At the present time, this goal isachieved by holding Armenian Neuroscientist socials during the annual meetingsof the Society for Neuroscience. In addition to fulfilling the immediategoal, the IAAN is ultimately interested in providing research scholarships andtravel grants to graduate students and scientists who are financiallydisadvantages. This ultimate goal shall be achieved by generoussponsorship from any organization interested in the advancement of neuroscienceeducation and research.
